  BE YOUR OWN DESIGNER TIP: Paint is the least expensive way to transform any room. Choosing paint color is easy when you know this little trick. Use what you have for the color inspiration, whether it's artwork or fabric. Which paint strips work and which don't, and how to do the 'dirt' test.
